The following provides specTERRA™ spectrometer users with software updates and downloads for your instrument.
FILE CONVERSION PROGRAM:
SEI to SII data format
This stand-alone program can quickly batch-process specTERRA™ spectrometer data files (in .SEI format) to a format (.SII extension) that can be read directly by specMIN and specWIN data interpretation programs.
***New August 2012 Update now available for download***
Notes: The log file and help file viewer will not work correctly unless the application is run from a subfolder on the disk that also has the application "wpedit.exe,". ie. these functions will NOT run from an application placed on the desktop.
For convenience, we suggest using c:/wpbin as such a repository - as for running SpecWin.

An updated version of the DARWin SP Data Aquisition Program is now available from Spectral Evolution!
This version has an improved data splicing function and an added Tools menu item (“Enable Dark Sample SWIR2 Enhancement”)* that lets you enhance SWIR 2 when you are running dark rocks.
*Note: Not recommended for use above 30% reflectance and remember to recalibrate with the white reference when you switch in and out of the enhancement feature.
